Helping Families in Times of Need
At The People’s Advocate Foundation, we believe no family should face hardship alone. We know that life can bring unexpected challenges — from struggling to pay the light bill, facing eviction, or needing help with food and basic necessities.
That’s why our foundation has expanded beyond referrals — we are now directly assisting families through our Emergency Assistance Fund, made possible by the generous support of donors and our GoFundMe campaign.
When families reach out, our advocates personally review each case and provide immediate help whenever possible — whether that means covering a utility bill, helping with rent, or providing essential relief items. Every dollar donated goes directly toward helping families overcome crisis situations and regain stability.
Our mission is simple: to bring hope, compassion, and real help to those who need it most.

DOCUMENTS NEEDED!
To qualify for help through The People’s Advocate Foundation Emergency Assistance Fund, applicants must provide the following:
- Valid Photo ID (Driver’s license, State ID, or Passport)
- Proof of Address (Utility bill, lease, or mail showing your current address)
- Proof of Income or Hardship (Recent pay stub, unemployment verification, or written explanation of hardship)
- Copy of the Bill or Notice you are requesting assistance for (utility disconnection, rent notice, etc.)
- Referral Form (if applicable) – If referred by another agency or community partner
Once your documents are received and reviewed, our team will contact you regarding next steps and eligibility.
